Filippo Aiello, DVM Memorial Luncheon
to honor the Greater Rochester Area Animal Shelters & Animal Welfare Organizations 1:30 P.M. Sunday, October 19, 2008 |
In March of 2005 we lost a good friend and a great veterinarian in Dr. Filippo Aiello. He was a compassionate human being who cared deeply for people and their pets. He always had a way to make you smile. Dr. Aiello shared in our love for the animals and to recognize this we are pleased to announce the Filippo Aiello Memorial Luncheon will be Sunday, October 19, 2008.... |
...The luncheon is being held to honor local animal shelters and animal welfare organizations. In addition to the fabulous food we'll have an informative and entertaining presentation and there will be displays for each participating organization! You will learn about pet adoptions, spay/neuter resources and pet behavioral & training information. And of course there will be door prizes, silent auctions and lots of fun for all! |

| Our special guest emcee for the event will be 1180 WHAM Morning News Co-Host Beth Adams, a long-time advocate for the animals that share our lives. Her passion has led her to volunteer at the Seneca Park Zoo, Pet Pride of New York, and Lollypop Farm -- and we thank her for donating her time to emcee this event! Beth is married to Democrat and Chronicle sports columnist Scott Pitoniak and they share their home with Oscar, a very handsome orange tabby she adopted from Lollypop Farm over a dozen years ago. |
